Bleep

Hop on the beat. Bleep along.

A small square robot with a brushed-steel case, a dark visor, two cyan LED eyes and a red bulb on a thin antenna. Bleep hops on the beat, and the bulb pulses to the same rhythm. Bleep along with him in Tempo Line, or take him racing as number 7 in Razaki Racers.

Meet Bleep

Square feet, steady beat

Bleep is a small square robot in brushed steel, with a bevelled case, a dark seam round his waist and a raised panel with a hex bolt on each side. His visor shows two oval LED eyes and a thin smile, with a rosy LED on each cheek. Three round lights glow on his chest in red, yellow and green, and he gets about on two square feet.

Bleep up close

This is Bleep as the game draws him, rendered big. Look at the panel on his side: the hex bolt has a slot cut into it, and every edge of his case is bevelled so it catches the light.

Bleep's in-game 3D model: a boxy grey robot with a dark screen showing two cyan oval eyes, above a cyan smile and pink cheeks, three round coloured lights, a bolted side panel and a red-ball antenna on top.

How Bleep hops the line

Bleep hops on the beat, a little bounce on his two square feet. The bulb on his antenna pulses with the beat and his LED eyes blink like anyone’s. He has no gait of his own beyond that hop, so his whole style is keeping time. Every corner in Tempo Line sits on a beat too, so his hop and your taps line up.

Put a hat on him and it takes the place of his antenna, sitting on the lid of his case.

Make him yours

Colour
The Colour slot paints his whole steel case. His visor, LEDs, bolts, chest lights, antenna and feet keep their own colours.
Hats
Every hat in the Shop fits him, in every pose.
Glasses
Try a pair on in 3D on the Characters screen first. They sit over his visor.
Trails
A trail follows his hops along the path.

In Tempo Line, a new colour on his case is only for looks: Bleep is as wide on the path as everyone else, so no character is easier to play.

On the racer select

Bleep is a Heavy racer: slower to get going, with the highest top speed, and hard to push around. The gap between top speeds is tiny, though, so how you drive matters more than who you pick. He drives with his antenna up and his lights on, and his voice, made by Razaki Games from original sounds, is chatty chirps and digital giggles.
